The Lord says, “Ask, and you shall recieve, Seek, and you will find, Knock and the door will be opened to you.” When we are truly asking, and truly seeking, we will find. In my journey I have sacrificed many things but I have also found many things. I have found that when all else in this world is pulled away and all you have left is faith, that faith will always pull you through. Recently, I asked the Lord to do something new in my life, I asked him to quiet me, not only in a mental way but also in a physical way. I asked him to silence me so that I may not always be the one to talk. So that my tongue and my mind might be silenced in order to hear Him more clearly. And if am to speak, I pray that what comes out of my mouth is only willed by the Holy Spirit. I asked God to allow what ever comes out of my mouth be only of him. I pray the Lord may put a new song on my tongue, not one that is worldly, or only speaks of worldly things, but of a tongue that only speaks of Him. The Bible says this, “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I understood as a child. But when I became a man I put away those childish things.” (1 Corinthians 13:11). God has called me to speak his words to these people and when he opens up my mouth everything of God comes out. It is time for me to put away all my childish, selfish desires and focus in on what God is asking from me. He has called me to be a soldier for him, but what is a soldier if he doesn’t know his commander or what he commands? Lord, no longer will I speak as a child, help my thoughts to not be childish, and help me to understand, not as a child, but as a man of Christ. Lord, I pray that you begin to write scripture on my heart, engrave it in the depths of my soul so that I may be ready for the enemies attacks. Paul speaks to the Ephesians and says this to them, “Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in the deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the TRUTH in LOVE, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the head, that is Christ.” (Ephesians 4:14-15). Thank you to all who are praying for this team, amazing things are happening here. We are seeing the unseen, touching the untouched, loving the unloved. keep praying whenever you think of us.
