In the last three weeks that I have been here in Swaziland I have seen countless things that have broken my heart. We visit two different hospitals each week. It is so hard to know how incredibly blessed the hospitals in America are and then see children dying under beds because all the beds are full. Many of the patients suffering from AIDS suffer rejection from society and haven’t had people love them and touch them in awhile. Being able to go and just hold their hands and offer them hope and love brings me so much joy. I pray that God will form my heart a little more each day to his. When I see those suffering my desire is to someday see them as a son or daughter of the living God worshipping and praising him in heaven. I desire to be a vessel of God so that they might know the love the Father lavishes upon us.
I John 3:1a
How great is the love the Father has lavished upon us, that we should be called Children of God
