John 10:27 says “My sheep listen to my voice, I know them and they follow me.” As this trip progresses I long to know more and more about who God is. I want to know better what His voice sounds like, I want to know how His heart breaks for the people of Swaziland who are suffering, and I want to better understand His love for me so that I can strive to love others with the same kind of love. Paul says “[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more cleary]…” (Philippians 3:10 Amplified Bible). One of the speakers at training camp shared three daily goals and they have become my prayer. They are my prayer daily to know God more, to better conform to His ways, and to make Him known.

Please be in prayer for the people of Swaziland. Pray that God will begin to raise up this generation of teens and children committed to Him and increasing His Kingdom. A generation that will take an active personal stand against the spread of AIDS, so that the trend of death will be changed to life. Pray that Swaziland will be an example to other nations of God’s glory.

  1. The work He is doing in your hearts is blessing those of us senders at this end. We will be praying along with you. God Bless you!
